Message from the Chief Resident
Welcome to our Pediatric Residency Program website. I am so excited to share why this is an amazing residency program!
I came to CHaD in 2013 to do an elective in pediatric heme/onc. After a wonderful, enriching experience, I returned in 2014 as a pediatric intern. Coming to CHaD for residency was an easy decision for me. The qualities that attracted me to CHaD were:
- the people
- the rigorous yet individualized residency curriculum
- and the beautiful location
I feel very fortunate to have developed a strong pediatric medical foundation by being given the appropriate level of autonomy to make decisions, but with constant support and guidance available, all while building lasting personal and professional relationships during residency.
During residency, I developed a passion for pediatric primary care, with a focus on providing care in rural areas, after receiving exceptional mentorship from my continuity clinic preceptor and clinic faculty. Now, I have the privilege of being the Chief Resident for a smart, fun, and diverse group of individuals who I am happy to say are both my colleagues and friends.
I enjoy exploring the Upper Valley with my husband, my son, and my co-residents in my spare time. There is always something fun to do whether it is going to a farmer's market, eating at local restaurants, theater, or exploring the outdoors. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have about our program. Thank you for your interest in CHaD!
