QLLA Charities Celebrates Record Breaking CHaD Classic
Quechee Lakes Landowners Association Charities (QLLA Charities) celebrated a record breaking 33rd Annual CHaD Classic Golf Tournament and Gala. In total, they raised over $135,000 for CHaD’s Child Advocacy and Protection Program (CAPP). CAPP is a multidisciplinary program created to help evaluate and manage child maltreatment in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. QLLA Charities’ continued support will help CAPP meet the growing demand for its services amidst the national opioid crisis.
The CHaD Classic kicked-off with the golf tournament on Monday, June 12th at the Quechee Club. The weather was perfect as golfers enjoyed a wonderful day of golf in support of CHaD kids. After finishing on the Lakeland and Highland courses golfers enjoyed dinner, a silent auction, and awards ceremony.
On Saturday, July 29th guests put on their dancing shoes for the dinner dance themed gala featuring the Brooks Hubbard Band. Included in the night’s festivities was a spectacular silent auction and an entertaining live auction hosted by Jamie Polli of Burlington, VT. The evening concluded with dancing, a spectacular dance contest, and the ceremonial QLLA Charities check passing to Deb Pullin, CAPP Interim Director, and Sharon Brown, Director of CHaD Community Relations.
