The Medical Genetics Department provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, clinical management and genetic counseling for children and adults who have a genetic condition, or are suspected to have a genetic condition. All genetic counseling and testing services are provided in a confidential setting.
Our team works to identify and treat medical concerns related to:

- Delays in childhood development
- Family history of genetic disorders

Our team
Our team is comprised of board-certified medical geneticists and licensed genetic counselors. We work closely with specialists throughout our system, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, and the Dartmouth Cancer Center. The relationships with additional departments ensure that you receive, and your family, receive comprehensive and coordinated care at all times.
