Transitional Care Clinic

Some babies need special care after they have left the Intensive Care Nursery. The Transitional Care Clinic (TCC):

  • Monitors babies with special medical needs, such as home oxygen or feeding tubes
  • Provides home nursing care
  • Helps babies who have specific nutritional needs
  • Coordinates appointments with specialists at the hospital
  • Provides immunizations against Respiratory Syncytial Virus to help prevent lung infections

We are your central contact for all your baby's medical needs for at least the first year, longer if needed. We will help you make appointments and stay in touch with various specialists.

Audiology Clinic

  • Hearing evaluation for infants who did not pass the hearing test in the nursery

Eye Clinic

  • For infants who weighed less than 3.5 lbs. at birth and need eye therapy or surgery

Genetics Clinic and Neurometabolic Clinic

  • To diagnose and treat babies with inherited genetic conditions

General Pediatric Surgery

  • For a wide variety of surgical care and follow-up

Pediatric Cardiology

  • Evaluation, therapy and surgery for heart defects and heart rhythm disorders

Pediatric Dermatology

  • Treatment of infant skin disorders such as eczema and birthmarks

Pediatric Nephrology

  • Care for infants who have high blood pressure or kidney problems

Pediatric Neurology and Neurosurgery

  • For infants with conditions such as epilepsy or brain tumors

Pediatric Pulmonology

  • Evaluation and treatment of infants with lung disorders such as asthma or cystic fibrosis

Pediatric Urology

  • Treatment of diseases and disorders of the genital-urinary tract
