The CHaD Approach to DRD

Patients who seek services at CHaD receive the attention of not just one doctor, but a team of specialists from a range of disciplines, all focusing their attention and their training on the problem at hand.

In the case of Harrison and Gracie Colegrove, no fewer than 40 doctors, researchers, and health care professionals were available to engage in making the diagnosis and determine the course of treatment. These included members of our Genetics team, our Neurology Department, Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Nutrition, Child Development, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Urology, Physical/Speech/Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Social Services, Anesthesiology, and Neuroradiology, among other specialties found at CHaD.

While it is popular to think that the cure for a disease is a matter of finding the right individual doctor, the truth is generally far different. At CHaD, we believe that bringing our combined efforts to bear on a problem is the most effective way of getting to a right diagnosis and management.
