In This Section

Treatment will be determined on an individual basis by the child's diagnosis and presentation. Treatment options include, but are not limited to, calcium and vitamin D supplementation, growth hormone, and oral bisphosphonate treatment.

After initial assessment, a child who requires an intravenous (IV) infusion of bisphosphonate (e.g., pamidronate) therapy will receive this at one of our Manchester offices under the supervision of Dr. Loechner.

Every effort will be made to coordinate an "infusion day" with other outpatient clinic appointments, if needed.
