Patient Support and Education
This section can help you find resources for children, adolescents, and families with behavioral, emotional or mental health concerns. This is only a guide, and is not meant to specifically endorse any individual provider, organization, or agency.
You can browse this section in two ways:
- We have provided a clickable two-state map that will allow you to find therapists and agencies by county. As this resource is not comprehensive, we encourage you to explore these links and to contact your doctor, school, community mental health center, or other parents for additional recommendations.
- You can also see a list of statewide resources for New Hampshire and Vermont, as well as regional and national resources.
Browse a list of things to keep in mind when choosing a therapist.
We also have mental health resources for parents of children with chronic health conditions.
We have intentionally omitted information about the many forms of payment for mental health services. Managed care contracts and payment plans vary widely among insurers and change frequently. We recommend that you contact your insurance provider, community mental health agencies or individual mental health practitioners for more information.
The information on these pages is subject to change. If you see any errors or know of resources not listed here, please let us know.
If you are a provider who would like to be included in this list, please send your contact information (phone, email) to Craig.L.Donnelly@Dartmouth.edu.
