CHaD HERO 2022

Nearly 2,000 participants, sponsors and donors descended on the Dartmouth Green in Hanover on Sunday, October 9, for the first large-scale and in-person CHaD HERO since before COVID-19. The 17th annual event provides funding for critical child and family support services at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) and throughout the Dartmouth Health Children’s system.

“The CHaD HERO community is like no other. Because of the dedication of every runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, and donor, our team at Dartmouth Health Children’s is able to provide life-saving and life-changing services to those who need it most,” said Olive Isaacs, director of CHaD community fundraising events. “We were thrilled to be back in-person and honored to have the support of so many heroes.”

Since its inception, the CHaD HERO has raised more than $8.5 million to support children and families at Dartmouth Health Children’s who receive expert, compassionate care and benefit from the latest discoveries in child health research.

Fundraising efforts are ongoing, for more information visit: CHaDHERO.org.
