Josie's Blood Drive

Image of Josie's Blood Drive

Josie was like any other child until she was recently diagnosed with leukemia.

Since her diagnosis, 10-year-old Josie has needed several blood transfusions during her treatment at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Her parents are so grateful for the local blood donors. To help ensure other children and adults in the community get the transfusions they need, they will be holding a blood drive this month through the D-H Blood Donor Program.

During the month of March, you can help support Josie and others like her by donating blood, platelets, or plasma. You will receive a special "Team Josie" silicone bracelet and the opportunity to contribute to a special book that will be made for her.

Go online to schedule an appointment or call at (603) 653-3775 and speak to a staff member.
