Our Patients. Their Stories. Isaac LaFavre

Isaac's story

With only 100 known cases worldwide, rapid-onset obesity with hypothalamic dysregulation, hypoventilation and autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD) has become a very real condition for young three-year old, Isaac LaFavre. As a patient of the Complex Care Team at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Isaac and his family benefit from having a team of specialists that go beyond just caring for this very rare diagnosis, to ensure that young Isaac spend as much time enjoying playing outdoors, visiting the beach and doing all the things that he loves to do.
