Understanding Anxiety in Children and Helping Them Cope; Virtual Event August 20th

Stressed family

Children, parents and families are under an extraordinary amount of stress as they continue to navigate work, life and school commitments. Identifying anxiety in our kids and giving them the tools they need to cope is more important than ever.

On Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) Pediatrician, Steven Chapman, MD, will be joined by internationally recognized psychotherapist, author and speaker, Lynn Lyons, LICSW, for an in-depth conversation on understanding, recognizing and responding to anxiety in children. They will discuss strategies to interrupt the worry-cycle and processed-based tools to help anxious kids and parents.
