Dartmouth Health Children’s section chief of pediatric dermatology Julianne A. Mann, MD, was recently honored with a national award for her work in improving workflow in dermatological practice. Mann received the Innovations in Quality Improvement Award at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting in San Diego on March 9.
The Innovations in Quality Improvement Award recognizes dermatologists who are leaders in innovative quality improvement efforts in dermatology. The purpose of the award is to encourage the adoption of meaningful quality improvement practices in dermatology in order to improve patient care.
Mann presented her study, “Decreasing After-Hours Charting through Coaching and Workflow Redesign: A Quality Improvement Intervention for Physician Wellbeing,” at the Academy’s annual meeting. She practices out of Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Heater Road in Lebanon and has been with Dartmouth Health Children’s since 2014.
