Flu Vaccine Information

The flu (influenza) vaccine should be given to children:

  • Between the ages of six months and 18 years
  • Over age five who have a higher risk for serious illness

Those who come in contact with children (such as caregivers and breast-feeding women) should also receive the vaccine.

You may have many questions regarding seasonal flu and H1N1 (also known as swine flu).
