Our neonatologists care for premature babies, and babies with infections, neurological problems, surgical needs, and birth defects. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, cares for approximately 430 newborns every year.

The 30-bed intensive care nursery (ICN) cares for a combination of acutely ill infants as well as stable and growing premature infants.
